Need for Speed is one of the most popular video game franchises in recent memory. So popular, in fact, that the name and concept were adapted into a blockbuster film with the blessing of Electronic Arts. If you haven’t heard of it, you can probably guess what it’s all about just from the name. Need for Speed is a high-speed car racing game. This latest edition, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, once again takes you to a world where you have access to a spectacular collection of powerful cars so you can floor it and enjoy the adrenaline rush of street racing.
But aside from normal races, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 also has police chases around various race courses in the city, and the cops are ready and waiting with all sorts of traps, chain barricades, and even helicopters. It isn’t enough to just be the fastest – you also have to be sneaky enough to get them off your tail. Alternatively, you can sign up and work on the side of the cops, chasing the illegal street racers.
